Our facility in North Carolina is one of the largest biologic manufacturing facilities of its kind in the world, and has received industry recognition for its exceptional design and strong safety record.

High standards for viral safety

Our hemophilia research builds on viral safety standards established by current clotting factors. Our clotting factors in clinical trials are fully recombinant and plasma/albumin-free, with no human- or animal-derived proteins added during manufacturing and purification. This is to ensure a level of quality that aligns with our high standards for viral safety.
